    Kang-Yoon Lee, Professor of Sungkyunkwan University IC LAB awarded the Minister's Prize from Ministry of Science and ICT

    Kang-Yoon Lee, Professor of Integrated Circuit Laboratory, received the Minister’s Prize from Ministry of Science and ICT. He has led the field of Low-Power Neuromorphic Artificial Intelligence Semiconductor and had developed ASIC which is core technology for COVID-19 Test Kit as an expert in the field of Wireless Charging. Due to this, he was awarded for his contribution. Therefore, we are looking forward to the development of Bio-Processor using AI Technology in the future.

    Professor Lee has contributed substantially to the industry by carrying out more than 100 Industry-Academic Collaboration Projects and transferring more than 20 Technologies to companies for 16 years. In addition to contributing development of the Semiconductor Industry by producing 95 Master’s and Doctor’s degree, has published 151 SCI Level Papers within top 5% of JCR and has contributed to the Academic Development in the field of Semiconductor System by holding 105 International and Domestic Patents.

    Professor Lee is currently in charge of training top-level human resource in the field as a head of the IOT Semiconductor System Manpower Training Center. He established SKAI Chips Co., Ltd in 2019 that conducts research and development in convergence with Analog/RF/Power IC to commercialize Semiconductor System.
